We're based in Rhode Island. Full electric conversions happen here, and we take vehicles from across New England and the Northeast. Consulting and parts sourcing aren't tied to location. We help people with their own builds wherever they happen to be.

How a full conversion works from out of state
- Conversation — email, phone or text. What the vehicle is and how you use it.
- Spec and quote — motor, pack size, a range target, and an itemised parts list.
- Drop-off — you drive, trailer, or ship the vehicle to Rhode Island.
- Build — with photos as we go.
- Shakedown and pickup — commissioning and road testing, then we show you how to live with it.
New England conditions
A few things about converting a vehicle in this part of the country are genuinely different.
- Rust — decades of road salt. Frames and battery mounting points get inspected before anything else, and repairs happen before the pack goes in.
- Cold — lithium cells shouldn't be charged below freezing, so the BMS has to stop that happening. We'll also want to know where the vehicle gets parked.
- Heat and defrost — on a gas car this came free off the engine. On an EV it's a separate system, and around here you need it to work.

Rhode Island
Home base. Our own converted Ford Ranger is registered and driven here. See our notes on registration and inspection for converted EVs.
Massachusetts
Boston, Worcester and the South Coast are a short drive, so drop-off and shakedown are straightforward.
Connecticut
Eastern Connecticut is close by, and Hartford and New Haven are an easy trip for drop-off and pickup.
New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont
There are a lot of old trucks and project cars up there, and they convert well. It's far enough that trailering down is usually simpler than driving. Consulting can be entirely remote.
New York
We take full conversions from New York and consult on builds anywhere in the state.
